Define Membership Permission


1. 'Allow Registration' controls whether users can register to the website


2. 'Allow Profile Update' controls whether users will have a profile on the website and be able to make changes to it.


3. 'Allow Address Update' gives users the ability to change their address



New Member Confirmation Type


1. 'Users are automatically authorized after registration' means that as soon as users fill in the create account form they are confirmed to have private-side access to the website.


2. 'Require user confirmation via email' means that when users first sign up to the website they then need to confirm their identity via email to have full private side access.


3. 'Require Admin Confirmation' means that in order for a user to have full access after signing up, a website administrator must approve them.



Define Email Content to New Members


Enter in automatic email and caption text in these areas.


1. Accepted Text is the content in the email notification that is sent when the user has been approved as a member


2. Rejected Text is the content in the email notification that is sent when the user has not been approved as a member


3. Caption text is the message that displays when a member logs into the website


4. Password reset Text is the content in the email sent to users when their password is about to expire and needs to be reset



Define Membership Settings and Page Redirects


1. Default Membership Class controls determines the type of membership new members will automatically be set to


2. "Require Agreement Of Terms On" select the page the the terms of service is located on. If users do not have to agree to a terms of service select "(Do Not Require Agreement To Terms)"


3. Welcome/Thank You Page is the default page new users will be redirected to after signing up.


4. Default Redirect Login controls which page users who login will be directed to


5. Profile Container Page is the page the user profile is located on


6. Password Expires After: The number of days set in this field will determine how long a password is valid before a user must reset the password. If there should be no password resets required enter '0'
