To add a product category hover over Webstore in the HoolaHoop navigation bar and select Manage Inventory.
To create a new category click on the Add Category button, then fill out the category details.
1. Enter the category name
2. Select whether the category is a top level category, or a subcategory. For example, Fruit is a top category and berries are a sub category.
3. Enter a number to determine where in the list of categories it should display. If 2 is entered the category will be second in the list.
4. The custom URL will auto-populate, but is editable. Each custom URL must be unique
5. Select SEO profile if applicable
6. Select the appropriate category template if applicable
7. Enter a short description of what the category is
The category must be saved before images can be added
To add images to the category save the cagory and re-open it, so that the 'Browse Image' buttons appear
Click on Browse Image for both the 'Large Image' and the 'Small Image'
Select the images and click on open
Save the category.
